We minimize our environmental footprint

Our company in pursuance of minimizing its environmental footprint and complying with the requirements of the regulatory framework concerning the field of its operations, applies environmental management procedures according to the ISO 14001:2004 and ISO 9001:2008 standards. The strategy followed aims to:

  • Monitor, record and control the generated pollutants in order to protect the environment.
  • Improve the energy balance through the reduction of fuel consumption and the use of more efficient fuel.
  • Improve the safety & minimize the risk to the health of our employees and the workplace
  • Optimize the process of transporting raw materials and finished products in order to minimize the air emissions from our vehicles.

According to this strategy the following are performed:

  • Continuous updating of the antipollution technology equipment used in production processes.
  • Application of innovative technical antipollution technology in the production processes.
  • Cooperation with Universities and Institutions for the research and development of innovative applications in the manufacturing processes and in the management of the by-products.
  • Looking for and evaluating alternative and more environmentally-friendly forms of energy.
  • Renewal of the fleet of vehicles.
